Fairey's "Firefly" is a carrier-based aircraft developed by the British during the Second World War. It can be used as a carrier fighter aircraft and anti-submarine aircraft. It was a performance and firepower over its predecessor, the "Nose" fighter, but when it began to serve, the war was nearly over. The design of this two-seat shipborne combat reconnaissance aircraft is special, with pilots and pilots/weapons operators in separate cockpits. The design guarantees a sturdy body, long range and easy to take off and landing on the aircraft carrier, although the single engine power driving the heavier body will limit the performance.
