WWII troops both friend and foe rated the German Panther extremely highly. Among the variants of this supremely effective design was a steel-rimmed wheeled variant of the Type G, which entered production from September 1944 and is artfully recreated by this plastic model assembly kit. In fact, this model affords its owner a choice between the included steel and normal road wheels. Further options include the choice between open or closed crew hatch and engine maintenance panel, with parts also included to recreate the infra-red night vision equipment employed in the Battle of the Bulge from December 1944. The turret rear escape hatch is movable. A figure is included recreating an overalled soldier, as are 2 marking options.
